Dude, why is one 940 and one 939? And I see no "San Diego", just "Claw Hammer" and "Sledge Hammer". It even says 130nm in CPU-Z. You don't mean "BN" as in "San Diego", do you? Cause if you do... : slapass :

Edit: Jesus, I'm confused - big time. Why does both this one and OPB's say S940 and "Sledge Hammer" when BN is supposed to be E4 "San Diego" and 939, right? Smelly...

Edit 2: Ahhh... CPU-Z being slow as always. Sorry, for ever doubting you.. hehe

Nice, the TCCD should net you some nice speed. I hope this thing outdoes the Clawhammer!

Hahahhaa, this chip just came out. Dont doubt Centvalny. CPU-Z is the one in error.

Ugh, Newegg is really slow right now. Go ahead and search on newegg when its working for 2.6ghz and San Diego. You'll see that the FX55 San Diego has been out.

No, you can't compare. He's running WinXP with all eye-candy on. Probably NO optimizations for superPi performance... he's just showing relative stability with the 1M run.

Is this a standard vapochill ls or has it been modded?

What temps did you get on full load with the clawhammer fx and the san diego fx?

Its a Smart Guardian Bug with sub zero temps. If u go below 0 it start count @ 256ºC (like 256ºc is 0ºc and 255ºc is -1ºc, and so on....)

Thats true enough, because my initial impression was that the lobby score seems low for the speed too.

Nice OC, one question though. Why did you cover up the batch numbers on chips?

those are some very nice clocks man. especially for a vapo ls. usually ive seen a round 3.1 -3.2 with a vapo ls. looks like the new FX's are an improvement. though more cpu samples are needed to reallly be able to confidently make that statement.

This is true, but it at least gives us something to look forward to.

If I can ever convince myself to drop the cash on one, I wanna pickup a VapoLS for my current A64 rig...just cus after I mod/modded the Vapo case it'd look fricken pimp underneath my modded PC61.

Congrats Cent, saw your results on [H] previously, just wanted to throw you another congrats.

I think quit a lot of people reach 3300mhz on LS with a Clawhammer. We hit 3350mhz with Vapo LS on a Claw???
