Only 2.80V on ram? This is absurd, even Neo has more, 2.85V.

Mmmm, a lot of memory tweak options like DFI's, even VTT adjustments but, what the hell, Only 2.8v max vdimm ? that's crap.

    Any mobo pics?

if its 2.8+.6 then the CPU is also 1.85+.6? now why the heck would they allow you that much cpu voltage? 2.45 is amazing? and total overkill. i like how they just have plain numbers, and not this percentage crap i have been seeing lately. i hate having to have a little calculator next to me just to know what voltage i'm giving it....

Not sure what the deal is, but in the uGuru in Window's, there is a VDDRRef and a VCPURef settingd which you can adjust up or down to .1v but doing this seems to have no effect according to the voltage monitoring.
The manual doesn't say much about it either. Perhaps someone else knows what these settings are for.
Oh, and for once, the temp readings are more believable.
    I've got 32c at idle.

Also, in the bios screens above, you see the ref voltage adjustments as being .10-.60, but in the uGuru it is .01-.10
I believe there is a typo somewhere.
So, in theory, the RAM voltage should go to 2.9 using the uGuru.

Well, I made a mistake, it does go to .10 in the bios as well, I just didn't scroll down.
BUT, Setting the ram to 2.8 and the VDDRRef to +.1, I still only show 2.82 in the uGuru monitoring.

In the DDR and CPU Ref. Voltage, what does +10, +20, etc mean? Is it volts, % or ...?

I cant imagine abit giving that much voltage allowance to a cpu if i had to guess its +.01-.06 for a max of 2.86 memory and 1.91 vcore. It's definitely not % 2.8 +10% comes out to 3.08v and 60% is 4.48v.

easiest way to find out would be for gitzum to set the vcore and vdimm really low like 2.5 vdimm and maybe 1.35vcore then crank both to +60 and use cpu z to determine voltages.

However i hope that its .60 volts 3.4vdimm would be nice.

And once again the mention of the SSB( super secret bios) rears its fairy head. As far as most of us at Xtreme are concerned it doesnt exist. There is no url for it no one who claims to have it wishes to prove it so we will treat it like a leprechaun. So many stories about them yet no proof they exist. Then it must be a fairy tale.

well give the bios some time.

the shipping bios with my DFI wouldn't let me change the vdimm from 2.5 volts. pretty freaking weird....

do we have an abit insider who posts here who can quiet us down or what?

Don't know about BH5. Unlike some folks around here, I don't have a stack of RAM lying around to try. I am still getting things installed and will do some overclocking shortly.

I was wondering why they shipped a calculator with my DFI.
