really?in that case, i wont owrry too much then....3.3/3.2Vdimm with BH5's shud be good enuff....

Unless you have no memory at present or are heavily into benching, rather than overclocking, then I see little point in spending extra money $$ getting memory that will do 2-2-2-5 rather than 2.5-3-3-7 , you are better putting that money to a video card or cpu, because I doubt you will notice $$ difference in game X or application Y.

I do realise though that not going with the crowd I might be laughed at, but the fear of that is not enough to stop me saying what I feel

Anyhow, I'll bugger off now and moan about the weather and young people to my mate Grandpa Simpson ....

I would give 3.3vdimm but it's not possible because there is no vtt mod, I'm going to do this tomorrow. up to now 3.15 is the max vdimm I can give.

    Nice speed

You do not have to send me any sticks as I have some 4 on order, I tend to collect RAM like I do nvidia video cards, thanks for the offer though.

Only 300 1:1 2-5-2-2 will get me excited though, that's like Viagra to us old guys with our X year old sticks of bh-5

yo dc not stable at 225, but not munch tested so far, only single channel 242 @ 3.15vdimm with one stick, gonna test the other stick in single channel too.
nforce2 with 2x512 really sucks for me
did burn in already (9 Hours)

I do know that if "twinMOS" does what there sayin here then this ram
should be "Flooding"the market so to speak so there isnt any rush to
go and order this stuff...Actually it might payoff to wait and see what
    happens...

My 256 isn't doing so hot, with 3.3vdimm I can only manage 245mhz 2-2-2-5 1T 3.3v memtest stable. However I can bench at 250mhz stable but it don't pass memtest or super pi.

Are you able to give it 3.4-3.6v ? That seems to be the sweet spot for these sticks.

Sure can, well I think anywase, I don't know if this board has any OVP or not. I'll try running 3.6v through it and see what happens.

DAMNIT, missed the sticks, got an instock email at 3:37 this afternoon... got home from work at 8:20, and they're gone..

EDIT: haha! things went back in stock at around 9:10, and i got me 2 from newegg!

i just did FedEx express saver, 3-4 bussiness days, but newegg doesnt process on weekends, and they need 24-48 hours processing time, so that sounds like next thurday. tis ok, i dont have the rest of the system anyways.

well sad to say, I tried max of 3.2vdimm and it didnt get me anywhere with 2*512. I think the AI7 undervolts. freaking thing wouldnt even post if I try even 220 2228 timings. I guess volt modding is really needed for this one.

Well, you are not alone in your woes. I'm in the process of doing a burn in because I wasn't having a ton of luck right out of the box. No DC at 200 with 2-2-2-5 for me, even at 3.2v! (Correction, that should read at 3.3v, not 3.2v).

I do have another factor at work for me here besides the ram and that is that this is a new build I'm using to test. The OCZ PC2700 sticks wouldn't boot in DC either, and I'm getting Memtest errors with some TCCD, as well. While these Speed Premiums are doing a burn-in, I'm putting together another rig to help determine if it is the sticks or the rig.

On a side note...so far it appears that those back in stock emails go out just after 6:00 pm EST, so if you are in the market for TMSP, keep checking the stock beggining sometime after 5:00 pm. And keep checking!

I am basing that last comment on observing date/time stamp on the "back in stock" posts made here, as well as over at OCF. May or may not be true, but appears to be the pattern.

Hipro5 posted decent results on an Intel back on page #5 and another guy, Diablo23RD over at OCF has hit 250 plus with his on an IC7-G/3.2 rig, but yes, most of the better results have been a64 rigs.

The OCZ VX also works better on A64 so there may be something to that. It is very possible that those same sticks that Diablo hit 250 plus on would do 270 plus on A64 and I do believe that hipro's sticks did better on A64 as well.
