Anyone else noticed that NON Speed Premium sticks use exactly same PCB as Speed Premium sticks?

Maybe thats why M.tec overclocks like

, because they use different PCB.

All people in uk needing this memory.

I have a friend in a pc shop that has just had a twinmos delivery 512 and 256

I can go and check the stock on saturday and will report back.

I am happy to buy this ram and post it to people but can i get a general idea of how many people would want it and what size modules.

This is quite a small shop without a lot of buying power so it wont be as cheap as the big online stores but i may well be able to get a bulk discount and since they only just got it he isnt actually sure how much he is going to charge :p

I think its min £50 for a 512mb stick and max £60 i think but they will be hand picked

Also he is happy to get stock in if he can and knows i will buy it ... a very accomodating chap

. Could someone let me know which distro companies distribute this ram and if they can do specific codes on the ram

I will pm alonso.

In that listing that was provided earlier, showing the various clocks for the 60Ds, the 50Ds and the 44Ds we left off the 60Ds with the "-50" after the date codes (like X-Gen reported in an earlier post).

These seem to do much better than the 240 shown for the "regular" 60Ds. X-Gen hit 270s and Diablo23rd over at OCForums has a set of these and they maxed his 3.2 P4 at 255 with 3.6v and he was sure they had more left.

We might want to edit the list and include these (remember...these are M.tec labeled chips that have the extra code, not the TwinMOS labels).

These chips can be found in Non Speed Premiums as well. The critical physical markings are the Winbond circles/dimples, the small hole in the lower left corner and the two bands/staples at both the left and right edge of the chip. Stick on labels will end in AA4T and the chips will have date codes with YYWW4, the "4" being critical, the "D" after the date code in NOT Winbond UTT.

I saw earlier in the thread that transam got the 256 mb sticks from newegg and they were good. I was wondering if anyone has tried the 512 mb sticks from newegg yet and results? i cant find them i must be overlooking if its there. Does anyone know? I really need 2x512 and am using 2x256 of mushkin bh6 right now but want an upgrade

A bunch of people tried 512mb sticks from newegg and got the AADT sticks.

TwinMOS use brain power PCB on AADT not on AA4T? Why?

With 2 sticks i was able to get 2*512 @275 and the other 2*512@260. Later some screen shots.

From these results I really dont think the BrainPower PCB is that important... OCZ uses BrainPower and does about the same as these modules if not worse so what's the big deal?

yup.. they exist in plain twinmos & the speed premium

with 4 last p/n endded with AA4T

man i really want some 2x512 ram that is bh-5 or this winbond utt, i really hope theres some good twinmos 512 mb sticks
