But what it actually is ,is a panicked move by intel to counter TR2 32C show, this is a xeon platinum, unlocked, cooled by a monstrosity on a monstrosity motherboard with a monstrosity of a vrm. This thing ate probably 700W or more during the 5ghz CB run.It wasnt a planned cpu on a planned platform.
Yea, amd could not do this without LN2, but TR2 is a normal cpu on a normal mb that is gonna be on sale in few months.And this, is a rushed PR stunt, all over the sites there is a "5ghz 28C intel chip to be out in q4" which just isnt true.
