There was another in Florida I think where the feds yelled at the man whom they had gotten out of bed in the very early hours and made him lie on the floor while they searched him and his wife. He was called several names by the agents who assumed his guilt. All Based off his IP# showing up downloading child :banana::banana::banana::banana:. THEN they figured out he had open wifi and they discovered a boat in the marina not far away with a pringles can wifi antenna. And the man had no child :banana::banana::banana::banana: on his PC. The man went though a terrifying and humiliating experience because he didn't lock his wifi.

So if you are ok with having to clear yourself with feds who jump first and ask questions later by all means share. There is also p2p networks and letters from greedy music and movie lawyers.

While these stories were from main stream media that is not where I get the majority of my info.

While I agree the media blows things out of proportion and businesses use scare tactics to sell goods and services there really are people out there doing bad things. If you want to help them out be my guest. And if you think it takes a lot of knowledge and skill just go to youtube and do a few searches. hack windows, hack wifi, crack passwords, hack networks, etc. They make it so simple almost anyone could do it.
