Since when? the 7990 in 3D mode is not able to disable crossfire, hence the sole reason I didn't get the 7990. If you have one in your possession and can confirm you are able to disable crossfire for any game, then enlighten me. Otherwise, I'm going with the only search results google hase ever given me, that...you cannot disable crossfire on dual AMD dual GPU cards since the 6990.
