yojimbo = 12 cores running HPF2 from me since yesterday.

Mumak = 2 cores running HPF2 from me since about 1.5 hrs ago. Only 3 days (38 WUs) cached up right now.

Having trouble getting more WUs and staying out of high priority on my rigs.

EDIT: Are they putting f'n quotas on downloads???

    For 1.s I have two 8 core rigs running. i7-860 = GFAM 72 wu's/10 days and HPF2 207 wu's/38 days. i7-2600k = GFAM 363 wu's/57 days and HPF2 141 wu's/22 days.

    For Mumak I have one 8 core rug running. i7-3770 = GFAM 312 wu's/58 days and HPF2 51 wu's/7 days.
I need two and a half day to reach my own target. After that I could put 4 more cores on Mumak's account.

The easiest for me is to stay where I am. Especially for 1.s I have build up a nice cache already. But I can switch if needed.

Looks like it. I have see the "This computer has finished a daily quota of 5 tasks" message on different rigs over the last few day.

Thanks guys! If there's really a limit on number of HPF2 tasks, then it's impossible for me to reach the target. So we can abandon this target.
As for GFAM, my current status is 1:241.

First day there is a quota for each new rig on an account 2nd day it should be clear..... Something to consider when planning to jump I think.

If you are already on a GFAM team that will go on to attempt a HPF2 badge then stay put. as your caches are filling already

For example I have roughly half GFAM and half HPF2 on the rig working for One.shot (this is in terms of numbers) Runtime is predicted to be 30 minutes longer. currently at around 136 days in HPF2 cache

OC, I think fallwind has 36 cores running on 0ne.shot's account as well for HPF2. (source)

I am constantly editing those 3 posts with info gleaned from the preceding posts...and confirmations added since..... yeah, I caught that. I think Jeanguy is on with yojimbo too.

If true and they don't mind jumping again then they would both be making a big dent in Mumak's quest.

I am hoping that at least one of you is double checking my math for this..... Got to admit feeling a bit frazzled today

Really, It's OK. It is possible....you just need the cores and then maybe folks will bring enough cores to get the job done.

It would be nice to get your sapphire but if not there are at least others that are possible.

In about two hours from now it will be midnight UTC ... Do those rigs added to new accounts today start filling their caches on change of day or need 24 hours running? Observations please!

    francine 8 cores - jeanguy2

    Home-PC 8 cores - Bluestang
    cordell 4 cores - Bluestang

Yojimbo - Without my 20 cores, there are 37 identified cores working for your goal. The two, not yet IDed hosts will likely bring you to 40 cores +. These will insure your Sapphire. I will be moving my two host (Francine & Ginette) over to Mumak's account as soon as the WUs now in process are done.

Fallwind - You need to follow me over to Mumak with the 36 cores that you have attached to 1.S

OC - I looked over your maths for the three quest individuals... Your plans look good... We are GO for launch...

12 cores moved to Mumaks account, 24 to go! I'll have it all done tonight.

    Old Chap,

I haven't had much issue getting new work when detaching/re-attaching. I'll get the "quota of 5 results" when I first attach but it usually goes away once the machine returns some valid results. The machine I just move to Mumaks account downloaded over 150 WU's and then started giving my the "quota of 5" message. I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens.

Kyalami is running 3 cpu wu's
Getting the tri core athlon up and running as bocksie (in a cardboard box) to go onto Mumak's account as we speak. My brother will attach his 8 core (Ra) to Mumak's account tonight as well but it is not 24 hour machine, it goes off at night (~6 hour down time).

    Update #8

Okay, currently I'm at: GO Fight Against Malaria 1:242:00:20:29

    05/31/2013 0:044:22:21:28

    I have 102 PV WUs right now, so (102 tasks * ~4 hours)/24=17 days. 123 days left-17=106 more days with ~60 days/day of compute time = around 2 more days needed on GFAM for Sapphire. 123 * 6 WU per day = 738 WUs (4hr/WU) or 123 * ~6.8 WU per day = 835 WUs (3.5hr/WU) needed to reach goal. Of course I'm making the assumption of 4 hr/WU to 3.5 hr/WU.

I currently have 1094 GFAM WUs in queue among all devices. We need between 738 to 835 WUs and we have a surplus between 356 and 259 WUs.

I'm at HPF2 1:026:09:01:13 There are 3243 HPF2 WUs in queue among all rigs. I have 275 HPF2 PVs. I'm guessing an average of 5 hours per WU. 275 PVs *5 hours/24= 57 days. This places is us at 282 more days needed for Sapphire on HPF2. The WUs in queue give us 3243 * 5 / 24= 675 days in queue for HPF2.

I've been working a lot, so the updates haven't been as frequent. I hope this helps clear things up as to where we're at.

Wow Today I woke up with a load of new machines on my account
I have updated my previous post with the list of attached machines and their results. Not sure who they all belong to yet...
My current GFAM status is 1:258, HPF2 is still 0:006, since all results returned so far are PV.
    Thanks !

A brief thought before I go to work:

All teams members: My main worry about the change over from GFAM to HPF2 is that some rigs will have too many GFAM still in cache thus reducing the number of HPF2 wu's that a particular rig can hold when the HPF2 work runs dry.

I would appreciate any thoughts about how we approach this "problem"

Rigs that are already working HPF2 may be the answer if we ensure that they are pushed to their cache limit of 10 days (Not a good practice but one that would suit all rigs for a few days maybe)
