reviews abound today....lots of em - all over the place
summary: ehhh, +5-10% from IB. not so great for desktop, but the bigger design features are for smaller/less powerful platforms so i guess it's to be expected.
it seams Intel is trying to back out gracefully from the high performance/enthusiast/desktop arena. i'm beginning to wonder if we will still have desktop chips available in 5 years? i can understand if we're nearing the end of what x86 can do, but that tells me that we just need to figure out the next evolution (not stop it alltogether!!). i would think there would always be a need for high end PCs, but maybe i'm wrong? maybe technology for the sake of technology simply isn't enough anymore....man, the world is changing - and not necessarily for the better.
