Anyone know of a webstore that has stock in hand of the Titan Acetal + Nickel blocks?

I'm in need of 2 more.

EK's Webstore, PerformancePC's and FrozenCPU are all OOS.

It would be great if you would post a photo of finished rig when it arrives! :P

Sadly the stork did not bring the FC-Terminal at the same time so D-Plug had to suffice.

BTW, if all the titans are of same nvidia reference design and actually made only by asus & evga, does that mean that bioses of any vendor are reflashable dispite initial brand?

    Yes.

Any vendor bios can be flashed.

Ive been on 3 different brands of bioses, about 18 different mods. So far only 1 titan bios works without throttling, and it is the one from nvidia that Naeenon did something with on OCN, that everyone including myself is editing for their own needs. My score on my stock, constantly throttling in any modern games/benchmarks titan was ~3K less on 3dmark 11 vs modded bios here. Just when changing vendors, you get the system image error, +/- a beep, and then have to reload drivers...flashing same to same vendor, dont have to reload drivers. Ive been on asus, evga, and nvidia original. Waiting for new fixed nonbuggy bioses supposedly coming out at some point.

It still isn't exactly clear what he did to that bios but it certainly works.

My question about bioses was more related to vendor overclocking tool usage, as my guess was that they might work only on cards branded by vendor, thus if i bought titans of different vendors imho i would need to reflash for eg. evga precision tool to be usable on both of cards, no? I don't wish to use two different configuration utilities in such case. My 2nd guess is that i may loose possibility to play some bundled games after different vendor bios reflash, but that's not big loss.
BTW, any links to threads/download urls for bios modding and one you used to prevent throttling?

The oc tools work on cards with any bios. Any bundled games are also independent of which bios is used.

Good guide and the bios that fixed throttling for most people (including me) located here.

The GPU OC programs aren't vendor locked. However, the brand specific tool may exposed certain functionality exclusive to custom designed cards.

Sometimes you have register your card at a vendors website in order to get a game key. Never heard of a game being GPU vendor locked though.

EK are also releasing an XXL edition of the block if that's your style:

If you compare to the original:

Then the screws are in the same place so the internals I imagine are exactly the same just with more flab around the edge It's acetal only and it comes with the backplate. >> edit EK confirmed internals are the same.

Ya, those extra two inches would just be for looks. Nothing extra to contact/cool down at the end.

Definitely would have gotten the full cover if they were out first but not really a big deal, you only see the backplate in my rig and just barely anyway.

Ho ho, very nice stren! I'm glad the couriers didn't bounce the package (too much)! :P

Also, here's the Original CSQ version (stock already depleted, we'll make more on Monday):

I had a question on my f'book page about the block bridge as to whether the single card link rotates 180. (So that the text is orientated correctly in a reverse ATX case). Yes it can be done and it doesn't seem to leak. However it no longer lines up as well with the edge of the block. Notice the bevel in particular is on the wrong side:

Also here's the block with some EK blood red coolant in it:

Yes, it works upside down but it's not really meant to be run like that

Is that Norprene tubing compatible with for instance BP compression fittings?

Norprene should only be used with barbs and worm clamps I believe

Norprene 10/13 works great with EK-PSC Fitting 10mm, I have them running in my bench setup here at work.
