4 core IB has so much die size/price to produce advantage over Vishera it is not even funny. Underperforming from AMD is what keeps prices of Intel CPUs jacked up, and 6 core models only in s2011.

If new games start being 8+ thread optimized, it might force Intel's hand and that would be good for everyone - Intel 6 cores for 300$, AMD 8 cores for <150$..
