This is my first Asrock mobo and it's their "high end" model so it's no surprise that it works really well. If you plan to use Win 8 you'll want to upgrade to BIOS 1.90 if your mobo doesn't already come with it. Win 8 is suppose to enhance the FX processors performance a few percentage points above Win 7. IMO Asus mobos are over-rated. They *may* have a few more BIOS adjustments but that doesn't necessarily mean that they overclock any better than the Asrock or Gigabyte mobos.

My FX-8350 will run rock solid @ 4700 MHz. @ 1.425 Vcore with 1.2v CPU-NB on an Xigmatek Aegir HSF, without issues. I can run 4800 MHz. but it takes a big jump in Vcore so it's not worth the effort IMO.
im also using the Fatality with the 8350 since release. Only started playing with it yesterday.

Whats the highest temp u got @ 4.7 with IBT on water/air ?
