No,an air very good psc comes close to very good samsungs, but the thing is psc scales with cold and you can get awesome results. However nowdays you can't find any good bbse or psc in retail,so good samsung are the only choice....

Your score is not too bad, 6min22.1 without cw translates into ~6min19.0 with CW, which is about on par with other Samsung scores in this thread. Note that all the top Samsung times are done in 4x4Gb configs, which is said to be at least 1 second faster.

If you're on air, then it's a lot easier to get a good time (sub 6min20) with Samsungs than PSC. You don't need to have super duper PSC kits to do 1300+ CL6 / CL7-tWCL7 on LN2, properly tweaked average stuff should be able to do it too.
BTW, you can no longer find good Samsungs in retail as well

Here's something I've been working on last week. Also no CW and timings not minimised as the board started acting funny after this run.

Thanks a lot Sam! I just planned to try with 4 sticks, I have them. I hope that my CPU can kkep them 4x4 at 1380+ MHz .

About my score, I thought that it was slower than seems to be. Will try to improve it a little bit trying more OSes too.

SOmebody noticed that on Asrock Z77 OC Formula (or other Z77 too) the 2800 divider is slower than 2666/2600?

    Thanks for the help!

Hmm, will check in next days, but if i'm right 27.5/27.7 gb/s. Will post a screen. With 2800 divider i can pass 28gb/s but pi32 is slower atleast 0.5second.

Yea,if you run 16GB you will gain at least 1 second compared to 8 gb,so you still have some time to catch...

Delex, have you tested tCWL 7? I find 7 is generally quicker unless pushing extra volts then 6 sometimes surprises me... also 6 may be the reason 2800 is slower for you.

I think I remember Splave mentioning he found some OCF dividers faster than others in the 3D01 low clock thread.

I can't get tWCL6 to work at 1300+MHz with any CAS on my PSC (LN2) so I run whatever I can
