Far Cry 3 Uplay amd never settle bundle fail

downloaded far cry 3 from uplay....went to activate the cd key says its already in use

google searching seems to find this is not an isolated problem

anybody else have this problem?

also cant use 20% off medal of honor warfighters because its already discounted on origin. fail

Contact UBI soft or and AMD .... this is the type of problem who allways appears at a launch of a game, whatever it is part of a bundle or not.. ( could be the servers who dont work as it should for register the keys. or they was an error with the codes etc), they will correct it for you. I see this type of thing for any games since years. Anyone remember FarCry 1 activation problem ? Ravenshield ? Crysis 1 ? Crysis 2 etc.

Offtly the key is not allready used by someone, but just the server send back this response ... or maybe if it is the case this time, they will just send you a new key.

Like i know some have got the same problem with retail copy of both games you have. ( " the code is wrong or have been allready used " ).. Im not really suprised. ( lately in the case of BF3 this was just the servers who was not reached and was do error as an example ) ...

You are right, one of the main reason i like use Steam... you click "buy", pay, download/install .. no deal with wrong key, servers down/flooded for register the game etc. ( its happend sometimes you need register the key for the multiplayer part as example, or for some game you need do it manually, but most of the time, you are directly good to go.. and even if a problem was occur, you have just to contact steam for it and the fix is waaay faster to come as they have allready all the reference you have buy it there, and can even control the code they have give you have for the game )

Anyway FC3 is really nice ( could have been better on some graphic parts, but i like it this way, and i have sometimes the feeling to play FC1 with what was missing in it ( interaction with local peoples, you are not alone, there's the population around you are working with.. ).. i have buy too Hitman yesterday, i like it. ( both by steam )

This should be in the game forum.. If a problem with a key code exist of a game you own ( Bundle or not ), it is still a key code from a game.

If you buy a gpu and there's one game deliver with it, and when you enter the code therere's a problem you contact the place you try to register the game. ( Then ofc if they respond you, they think your code is wrong and they think you have stole the key, you contact MSI, Asus and watch with them the problem ).

Most of the time it is the way have been print the codes, or just the server who are buggy with thoses codes, or the just the server who dont recognize them for a reason or another.

( i cant count on my 2 hands how many time i have buy a gpu, or other hardware with Games bundled with it, whatever it is an MSI or Sapphire ( never HIS, but they dont bundle games ) and it have happend the same thing... )

(In this case, im not sure, but i think you was register the bundle code on AMD, then use the code they give you for the games when you buy them, so something have maybe been mess somewhere on this part or on the Ubisoft/EA parts ( in some rare game case, i remember the problem was piracy, as the code generate for valid pirate copy was, if you really have no luck, the one you was use, the good thing with old key code generator )

Worked fine for me. The 7970 is playing FC3 great in DX11, no AA, default settings at 25X16. (didn't bother upping the settings after Hs review) I'll skip AA at 25 X16 before I'll skip a minimum fps around 30.

okay ubisoft customer service finally got back to me and gave me a new code

all is well now!!!

farcry3 is up and running and looks amazing!

im happy now!

Lmao, same here, sorta.
I got past the lv with the car chase, that was neat, then the game went back to shooting arabs, which pretty much sums up most fps games these days.
Boring to say the least.
The same reason why I got bored of mw3 and bf3, to repetitive.

Had the same issue with my Never Settle Bundle, it appears they just mixed up the keys...my Far Cry 3 key was actually the Hitman Absolution key, and Vise Versa...there is no scam going on here, just a mix-up.
