I would like to thank you nickshih for all the awesome work on this board. It simply rocks any chip you throw at it and produces new limits yet seen with other boards. Last night I was testing a 2700K Sandy and was able to reach 5500mhz stable within just a couple minutes, almost too easy. All I can say is Asus and Gig better get there act together real fast as this board has the makings of a true killer. P1.6 works excellent by the way. I got two more Ivy chips coming in this week for some better tests which I will post up perhaps this weekend but so far this board totally rocks.

OC profiles were lost after update

After upgrading to 1.6 through the internet option in UEFFI, all my OC profiles were lost. I think the situation was the same the previous time I update the UEFFI from the internet. Am I doing something wrong, or is it normal your OC profiles to get wiped at UEFFI update?

is there any way to solder up a "slow-mode" switch like on MVF/MVE ("LN2" switch on UP7) ???
this is the one feature that i use a lot on the z77 ROG boards that is not on this board. Any ideas?

After the update to 1.6 my OC is gone . The board is failing to boot in anything else than default, stopping at code 15. Before I stabilized my Sandy 4.7@1.39 but now I can not move beyond the turbo multiplier 32 (I have an early ES sample) I tried to change the multiplier from Windows, but it seems it is not working, only the voltage settings seems to work. From the book code 15 means early NB initialization. I tried "cure" the problem with more voltage (VTT, VCH, etc to 1.3) but it doesn't seem to help. The memory is on default.
From quick search the code 15 is supposed to be related to cold boot problem? So any suggestions or I just fried my CPU?
Is it safe to downgrade the UEFFI to previous version where it was working?

    EDIT:
I am back to version 1.42L and crunching at 4.7@1.39. The newest UEFI obviously didn't work for me, but I am not as extreme as you guys to need it at first place

Maybe I have that luck! But I'll be lucky to see 6,6GHz 3D! 4/8
