I can testify that I was sitting on the sidelines but eventually joined in the fun as the excitement the drive to help folks out grew. Leading things that help keep our interest peaked which is important as sometimes crunching can feel like watching paint dry.

As you figured at POC I have moved 2 GPU's to your account.

I didn't need any badges my self, but enjoyed helping out.

And it doesn't really matter who's party it is, as long as we get pie we are all happy.

Well, until someone comes along and says "I cannot tell a lie....It might have been me and it might not" I can tell you this:

For me at least, this has injected a bit of fun (not to mention points) into the mix and, judging from the comments, some of this seems to be rubbing off on you guys.

Just watching for what "we" can achieve each evening here brings smiles

Have we added more than Mr Wfo today?...... Keep watching.

We want lime! We want lime!

brings perspective to what SAM is doing too doesn't it?

I think I get the picture.... Well thank you one and all for injecting a little fun into this week.

Quick question: Who runs [BOINC|7.0.31][CAL|AMD Radeon HD 7900 series (Tahiti)|1|3072MB|1.4.1741] on a 2600K? Any details of card and about the number of wu's it runs concurrently

Looks like we're ahead of 2ch for a change.

You have to feel it to be sure it is dry, but I'm afraid I will get in trouble when I do.

I'll take full credit for that machine. First rig in my sig. Gigabyte Windforce3 7950 running @1000/1000. Started at 8 WU, but switched this morning to 9 WU.

Will do. I have my count set to .10, but only 9 run instead of 10. I also try and keep them staggered.

If you want to run 10 you can change the <cpu> tags in the app_info

    Code:
          <avg_ncpus>0.500000</avg_ncpus>
          <max_ncpus>0.500000</max_ncpus>

I ponder to think if the collective known only as "We", not to be confused with The Knights Who Say Ni, would be capable of such epic proportions as Cherry Pie

Well as a collective we might be able to push SAM off for a short while ... just think about that ... 1 guy ... and it takes a collective to even consider matching his output

Did you check the wattage this rig is using? That is always one of my main concerns when upgrading. It is nice to have something powerfull, but you have to be able to run it 24/7.

I run what you're asking about on a 7970. The only difference being I run 7.0.36. Running 9 concurrent tasks. Results for last 4 1/2 days.
