The CNB part of the UNB is pretty much identical between the two (Trinity lacking the L3 of course), however on Trinity it is highly optimized for power consumption and therefore much more complicated. The GNB part is a whole another story

UNB = Unified Northbridge == (CNB = Core Northbridge, GNB = Graphics Northbridge)
Why did you call them execution cores ?

I like that "execution cores", but well My sense of IPC is completely different from what reviewers claim is IPC. I'd much rather call it executions pre clock from a core (silly sure)

the Instruction cache is called instruction cache for a reason right ? to my knowledgeable is also has a clock rate from what I've read.
