my best now on water cooling cpu and air for ram (and IMC is weak )

4.2GHz not tweak only try maxmem setting and can help only 1 or 2 sec


5GHz not any tweak

I have some issues while booting with 2400. The first time...no problem...then hanging @ postcode 55!
No chance to boot anymore, but it was stable! 2200 no problem...but 2400 cl10-11-11-21-1T 98 was just running 3 or 4 times! What could it be?

The curious thing is...I was able to start like on the asus...running linx and stuff like that, but then, after restart...no boot! Postcode 55!

the 2X4GB run was under cold on the memory with no insulation, just a quickie at 1.85v

Not sure where i read this hear, it was written that this error appears when to much pressure it's applied on cpu by cooler and memory lanes are having problems. Not sure 100% if it was this or error 5.
Although if they work at 2200 makes no sense/ or at higher frecuency the cpu it's more sensible.

I will redo one at 4.2, the reason for the 4Ghz run was for a lcc on OCN

With only 6606mhz on cpu, and 2642mhz on mem´s

Seems like u use too tight timing for ur memory

Ur kits should have no 2600 or 2400 XMP . maybe u set the wrong subtiming . and it becomes unstable

Postcode 55! What the hell is that?

From the Z77 OC Formula pdf manual:

0x55 Memory not installed

So it's clear after restart the memory it's not recognized/ or it can't run at that frecuency.

Have you tried with higher VTT and vDIM voltage? And may be INTERNAL PLL ENABLED also?

I don't know haw Samsung 30nm works buy if you have 1.55v at 2200 try 1.60v at 2400.
And raise also Cpu VTT at 1.1100-1.150. You have also DRAM VTT, see some setting here, put .085v or higher.
And put if it's not INTERNAL PLL- ENABLED.

On my P67 PRO3 - although it's far away to give example- the board cannot boot at 2200 with INTERNAL PLL DISABLED, only ENABLED.

And no...my kits don't have a profile with 2400 or 2600! The subs are generally at auto except 10-11-11-21-1T 98.
