hey guys can I get some vids of you guys benching? I want to see some action. especially steve ro doing pc mark benches. they are so long and you go through ln2 like crazy. also sam, I want to see you benching. steve get your wife on the cam corder and sam get your grandmother on it when you are on next. I'm in the long process of reformatting ssds secure erase and redoing my lsi raid. Im taking my 24/7 aging x58 xeon setup and I'm puting the MVG on. I'm gonna run mvg, 3770k, lsi 92604i, (4 m4 raid 0) and a evga FTW GTX 670 for my 24/7 gaming rig. once that is done I will insualte the x58 and bench it. make some damn vids. whenever you guys bench hit record. you can always edit it later.

Swapping 8150s out to see if I can find more speed. Will also RDRAM sub in sometime this weekend. Unfortunately I couldn't buy a board that supported OC, so unless abo can program SetFSB for the PLL I need, we're stuck with a stock submission.

Gigabyte 990FX is coming today. Gigabyte was nice enough to set a machine up to check LLC options for me. I'm outta LN2 though, only 4-5L

this chip cb at 120-125 so fail and I think the board may be gimped keep getting 55 with the first two dimm slots.

ron gave me a tip about 55... if 2 dimms are 55 check your mounting pressure, you might be too tight. and dont forget to save a validation file with screen shots like that... you dont want anybody to say "thats a bugged shot" because techically it is... but with validation it will be ok.

Well I ended up cleaning the dimms out with a beastly air compressor and not my little crappy one and all 55 issues seem to be resolved for the moment.
There was quite a bit of vasleine that sprayed out at 120psi

ps Sam where is the Bulldozer memory clock, I'm waiting for a 3000+ sub from you big guy

I have a UD3R and an E8400 (untested and hidden from me atm) along with some D9's Zen is sending me, so I will try to get a sub in for that, if not you are going to have to break out the el cheapo

Well my CPU was a bust.

On air, slot 4 was fastest, 1374 which maxed out CPU-NB.
On LN2, both CPUs did 1374 in that slot...

Switched to slot 2, your CPU did 1462, mine did 1462.

I screwed with drive strengths, and tried up to 11-17-17-40 with looser secondary/tertiary timings, no luck. CL12 doesn't work.
DDR3 was under LN2, -90c

Noted captain, if you like that how about some 7-11-7 with only 1.8v

it is crazy I can run this 3D all day but no chance in hell for 32M at those volts, also subs were pretty tight (LB 7)
