At least not LinX and/or Prime stable at reasonable voltage. I don't want to run over 1.4V for daily use.
Thanks for info . Going to look around for another batches... Any recommendations what batches i should be looking for.. ? As I see it is lottery and even the same batches overclock completely different... :/ Do not remember such diversity with old i920..

Are you willing to remove the IHS and apply different TIM? If so, then you will have a much better chance of finding a 5Ghz daily driver; if not, then you will have to be very lucky.

Guys what voltages can I try and lower in order to get better temps but keep stability? For example I have lowered PLL to 1.5, went even to 1.2 with no ill effects on stability or overclock 3570 @ 4.5 default vcore.
I think there was one other I could try but can't remember the name

    Thank you for your time!

I just picked up an L223B645 at MicroCenter. Will test this weekend and post results... If it clocks better than my current L221B009 3770K which needs 1.41v LLC-Extreme at 5Ghz then I will keep it and sell my current chip.

I installed the chip, haven't popped off the IHS yet, just waiting for the liquid pro to arrive. But so far, after a few minutes of playing with the bios I have it overclocked to 4.6 with 1.328 volts. I ran a quick 20 pass test with linx, and it passed. Hopefully I can squeeze more out of it. Stay tuned!!!!

boots perfect at 2800 mem and its rock solid at 5GHz HT offset +0.19 TeamX 2600CL10, IHS removed and tim changed, dropped 10C exactly

since saturday played max payne3, BF3, MOH, GTA, Crysis 1 and 2, Sleeping Dogs, not a single BSOD or error my other chip took 1,520 to be 5GHz stable same mem speed and was a 3570K

no mate its from another friend here that came on the same pack, but yours did the same except RAM harder to get higher than 2600+, this one boots the teamX 2400 at 2800 12-14-14-35 1T at 1,685

Heres my best L221B009 3770K using offset vcore set at + .175v with CPUZ load showing 1.384-1.408. I tested at least 4 L221B009's and 3 L223BXXX and this is the one I kept.

This G.Skill TridentX kit sucks, have a TeamGroup kit on its way and working on getting another kit to test my IMC.

    EDIT
Got my new TeamGroup 2x4GB 2400Mhz kit today and my IMC was able to easily do 2600Mhz. Will test max mhz and try tighten 2600Mhz timings.

Anyone else with a similar 3223B598 (Costa Rica)? It is taking upwards of 1.560v to pass 3x linx at 90C for 5Ghz.

4.8 is looking to be 1.375v @ 73C (30C ambient). Seems much worse than many of the chips posted in here.
