I have similar problem
1200/1800 @1181mv and artefacts (like red grid on 3d mark11) I'm also confused since gpu temp never went over 73C at highest load? Tested on Sapphire 7970 cars with 12.6b beta.

someone tried to flash his 7970 ref with bios of sapphire dual x?

I tried it some time ago, it causes black screen after changing clocks to anything but stock...
Now i'm on XFX 1000/1425 bios and i find it very good.

Any one can Max the sliders out and (NOT) apply the settings and show actual prove of the successful benching
with out artifacts at (Those) settings without Heat or issues.

Оn water cooling I'm using 1.35-1.4V max.
1.7V, I course will not apply- it is dangerous. Аll parameters are applied!

1.38v gives 1.32v see 1.30 in heavy load on my sapphire (watercooling) , therefore 1.45V gives 1.38v real so playable for benching ,rise above 1.45V in watercooling will be dangerous .

The bottom line is (PROOF) with your settings applied and a succesful run with Heaven.
and the settings you used.

I can run thru Heaven at 1250/1800, (No benefit) on the mem above 1250 below 76C but once I get to
1300 core starts pushing 80C but no artifacting.(YET)

1250/1650/1.200v and good to go.
Only get in trouble as to heat in Benching and not gaming.
Ambient as usual plays a big role.

Is anyone playing with XFX BE's and having any luck? Or has anyone flashed BE's and had better luck? They rock stock, but I cant clock these things worth a damn.

I'm running mine at 1150/1650 @ 1.56v stable, testing 1250/1650 @ 1.235v, but not quite stable.

if 7950 that is normal, most can only do around that at max, if 7970 then maybe you got a low clocker :P
