Tried some more, cas 9 didn't seem to happen with reasonable voltage. I tried up to 1.67V, the system booted but bluescreened right after the Windows splashscreen. Same thing with DDR 2600 10-11-11.
So for now i settled with DDR 2400 10-11-11-25 1T Latency boundary 10 at 1.55V.
Transmitter and receiver slew both at 3 for channel A and B seemed to do the trick for me.

Hey guys. Running into an issue. I have 4 sticks of this ram and it can't get it above 1866MHz. No matter what timing or volts. My old Corsair went above it fine. If I take two of the sticks out it will go past 1866MHz fine. The ram passes MemTest fine and I have also tried two different sets of this Samsung ram. Just got the second today in an RMA.
My setup :
CPU : Ivy 3770k
Mobo : ASUS Sabertooth Z77
Try to raise Trfc. 200+ is not uncommon for 4 sticks of Samsung based ram.

Zeus - does that apply to x79 too? My HCH0 run 2400-10-12-12-28-1T 1.600v but dropped a prime thread after 5 hrs .... I know its 5 hrs but I like extreme stability, so should I raise my Trfc from 147 default?

If you are running 4 sticks it's worth a shot. I've never owned a X79 set up but i think the rule applies to all platforms. (not 100% sure though)

Try two sticks first. If that works fine try the other pair. Maybe you have a bad pair. You might try 2133 if possible with your board, maybe 2000 divider is bad. Did you try 2t? 2133 10-10-10-28 2t Trfc 147 should work with 1.5V easy. Try that as a starting point.
Good luck.

Ok. So I tried two sticks at a time. Both pairs in each slot. I could never go above 2200MHz. Both passed memtest86. So I don't think it's bad. Should I have any special ASUS Digi Power control settings? I have tried all settings but changing the memory power frequency. I am thinking my board is just a... Thanks for your help.
What are you guys setting your transmitter and receiver skews as for 2133+? My Maximus V Formula with 3570k would not even post at 2133 until I set the transmitter skews as 3 and receiver skews as 4.
Please share!
Thanks!

I meant to type slews, not skews, heh.

Very nice Shiranui! 1.72V is quite a bit, did you measure voltage with a DMM? 1.70V set in bios on my board is ~1.72V measured by DMM. Why is your Aida bandwidth so low? Low CPU frequency perhaps?
Today my second kit came in from RamExperts, together with a €22,20 invoice from my friends at the customs. (about $25).
Oh well. These are week 19, lets hope they shine.
My 1215 kit can boot into Windows at 2600 10-12-12-28 1t but it errors out in the very first loop of Spi 32M. I have tried up to 1.69V with AI Suite, i get code 55 if i try to boot with anything over 1.68V in bios so i had to raise Vdimm in Windows.
2400 9-11-11 is absolutely no go, it won't even make it into Windows but maybe it just needs moar volts, dunno.
This 1219 kit is the first kit i´ve seen with the chips made in the very same week as the sticks itself. Most sticks use chips that are between 1 to 3 weeks older than the production week of the sticks. My 1215 kit has week 13 chips.
The production week of the chips is in the first line: SEC xxx HYK0. The xxx mark the week number.

Here
look under the Misc section where he talks about the transmitter and the receiver slews and how they need to be tuned before the voltage adjustments

Been testing the new week 19 kit today and it had exactly the same limit as my old kit. I'm pretty sure it's the CPU/IMC that's holding me back. I will find out soon as a new cpu is already on it's way to me.
I've been trying to get 16GB stable and it was not as easy as i thought it would be but in the end i got it to finish Hyper Pi32M:
Had to raise Vdimm some and back of with Latency Boundary.

My Maximus V Formula comes in a few days to replace my Sabertooth. I will let you know how my 16 gigs fairs since they are newer than yours. If I can't get anywhere with them either I am going to just return them. :-/
Today i have been testing the sticks individually which was pretty interesting.
I tried for 2400 9-11-11-28.
The result:
2 sticks, no boot. Tried up to 1.68V but the system got into a rebooting loop without getting to post.
1 stick, booted but threw errors in Memstest 86, even with 1.675V
The last stick was golden, booted straight up, even with just 1.61V but threw the odd error in memtest 86 test 5 so i increased voltage to 1.635V and it was fully stable:
If only all 4 sticks were like that...
The good stick was from the week 19 kit, the other stick from this kit refused to boot. Overclocking results from these sticks are very random as the chips don't seem to be speed binnend at all.

Noob question:
Is HyperPi enough to test for memory stability ?
Well if you run HyperPi 32MB in a number of threads that equals the one your CPU can handle I would consider it a nice indicator of memory stability. Not that it means your memory is 100% stable but I would say that having a BSOD out of a memory problem gets pretty thin after that. You can also test y-crunsher, for me it showed up as another nice memory/IMC tester. Bother HyperPi/Y-crusher are fast tests as oposed to memtest, though the last will give you a more thorough insight on whether there is/isn't stability problems.
