Did you load optimized defaults right after you flashed to F9D? All the BIOSes are official BIOSes, you cannot just go out and make a BIOS for another user. For your memory, F9D is the best BIOS for it, it is teh only BIOS where the board will set 1.35v at default.

Yeah mobo set correct voltage by itself, running 1600 @ 8-8-8-22 1.35v

I would set memory timings, save & exit and no change, but with F9d it saves. Boot sequence is ignored, if you have a SATA3 plugged-in it boots first no matter what you've set in BIOS.

Great mobo, very stable, defect-free as far as I can tell. But the i5 3570k is disappointing.
