Can it physically not deliver more or is it just a BIOS limitation to give the MVF a place in the market?

I have not checked the max supported VID codes on the controllers or what the VRM can safley pump out, Shammy usually locks out stuff with good reason. When the board was released that was also deemed enough in pretesting (I was present when the good ESes arrived). The Formula has more than just extended VID ranges, there are hardware additions and changes on the board which give it an advantage for memory clocking.
