yes but we don't publish pricing until product release.

let's put it that way though: it'll cost substantially less than buying an MCP35X + and Apogee HD.

Regarding selling the product without pump.. we'll have very limited qty for this initial product intro. My production is still a bit on the slow side, and we just don't have enough of them arriving with this shipment. So we might spare a few dozen pcs just to satisfy urgent needs. But these will go out of stock fairly quickly I presume. so if you need'em then grab'em quick.

    MORE INFO:

To save you guys some costs, we'll have 3 separate versions:

    - For Intel 1155, 1366
    - For Intel 2011
    - For AMD (all current sockets)

and we'll also sell the mount kits separately for those who want to upgrade, BUT I'll have no spare mount kits for 2011 and AMD for this shipment either. Sorry :-(

Product Introduction begins with the 1155/1366version. Again, sorry if you were waiting for 2011 or AMD, these will come on the next shipment in a couple of weeks. I know it's going to upset some of you, but there is nothing I can do about it now.

    So based on Sidewindercomputers pricing
MCP35x is $86 and Apogee HD is $60 total is $146

"Substantially less" I would guess around $110 to $125 range. Not bad at all if that's the case.

If distributors list it under MSRP as they usually do then you're probably in the ball park.

No. As a manufacturer, we always speak in terms of MSRP, not "street price", which is what you are quoting here.

    MSRP of 35X is $99.95
    and HD is $74.95
    Total MSRP $174.90

So MSRP for APD2 will be substantially less than that.

As to "street price"? in general don't expect them to drop at launch, but after competition sets in.. then it's up to the dealers.

I think you now have enough data to make an educated guess

    I'm guessing $139.99
Here in UK it's a totally different subject... Retailers can even swap currency symbol and use same digits
I REALLY have to move to other side of the pond...

Thanx Gabe for the info - please give us a heads-up once the pump-less versions are available - As I said, I will take 4, but need one quite urgently to finish my NAS box.

    Appreciated.

ps; Comeon guys, let's not put Swiftech under pressure wrt the price and our expectations - it will be announced soon enough

I got my Helix fans in and my first impressions are that they are very similar to the GT's. They move a decent amount of air mounted to a rad and are pretty quiet, both at 12v. The only thing I can say that I would like to see on future revisions are sleeved cables and arrows designating air flow and fan direction. Otherwise they seem as solid as any other fan and as I already stated, pretty quiet at 12v. I will try and get some pics up Sunday after I get back from camping.
