Had to uncheck "Safeboot" and let the SO install the New CPU drivers... only remembered that today.

I have been running my b2 2600k @5ghz 1.4vcore. I got the chance to get a b3 board for a great price and jumped on it. Now I can't get stable @ 4.6. Anyone go from a b2 to b3 and have to change settings?

i never heard of MIVE B2 but yes B3 changed normally needed a bit more vcore what bios are u running and what settings

Alright, been messing with my M4E and 2600K. I'm having trouble getting 5.0 stable at regular voltages and temps. I can get it Prime95 stable at 1.5V and 88C (on liquid...), but that's not ideal obviously. Opinions?
(I did try the settings listed a few posts up, but no luck)

I cant run 2600mhz its like impossible... maybe crappy BIOS or Memory controller.

Always possible, but I don't particularly care since Prime95 is an unrealistic loadobviously your chip is not as good as the chips from the other members here, so take your multi and voltage down until your chip is stable again

5ghz prime @ 88c load? You must be at like 1.6v or something if youre watercooled. Something wrong there. What's your loop and ambient?
Lol, yeah. 1.5V. I've got SR1-360 push/pull, EX240 (1 fan push, lol), D5 w/ BP top, 2x 7950s, 2600K (EK Supreme HF). Maybe I should turn up the D5 pump from 2?

New Bios 3208 @ asus site. Kinda weird updating, did like 2 updates, one on ez utility, and anotherone after reboot. Looks good in the first impression. Didn't try nothing fancy. Cheers.

Really another buggy 32XX bios?i updated and keep getting error 72 on LCD...i even tried ROG update and still the same

manual says initialize PCH devices i did all but nothing im using 2302 on the other bios...thats the bios i installed 3202 and recovered maybe its wrong but not even 2302 works on it now...i have 2 new bios chips will put one lazy now...

1 before reboot, another after reboot, but it was weird update i was think, omg the update gone wrong, waited a minute and tchanan... second update and it was ready to go with my ivy.
What the change log on this one ?

well i must say that this BIOS finally borked my first BIOS chip...i have 2 replacement and how funny NONE of both chips from EBAY on the link on this page works PC on off endless boot loop im MAD cant believe this crap...i took the original bios with an extractor and one leg broke, so im on only one bios
this are the chips catalogued for MIVE on EBAY
to the LEFT EBAY chip to the RIGHT original MIVE BIOS i think i will have to solder that leg and put it

I bought the same MIVE bios chip off ebay as you did "Winbond" and doesnt work for me either. Fans just spin for second then off over and over. I told the seller and he sent me another one free of charge but still the same issue. Anyone know where to get working replacement bios chips?
