I like the concept, I just hate the bezels (they really do bug me).

I've also tried it on a multiple projector set-up... THAT was something to witness.

If I have a choice between my bro's 73" 3d dlp or a triple monitor set up though, it's a no brainer. I'm going with the mitsubishi 100% of the time.

16:9 is supposed to match your natural FOV or at least pretty closely. With three 16:9 monitors that just obviously isn't going to be the case. I would rather just have a larger single display than a short and wide display with large bezels in the fov.

That why i wish PLP 20-30-20 4960x1600 was officially supported, big center screen with bezels in the peripheral, more hight and less wasted horse power on pixels on 2 full sized monitors on the sides which are peripheral most of the time unless you sit back which i like doing from time to time. Running in Windowed mode or using HTSoft is not ideal.

I definitely hear what you're saying here, Booey.

And that is why I went with three 16:10 monitors (1920 x 1200 each). Using three 16:9 (1920 x 1080) monitors is too much of a horizontal stretch, as I have said in previous posts.

And this is why I'm really looking forward to the highest-end GTX 600/700 series with lots of VRAM to back it up.

I have a 25 X 16 panel on my secondary computer, they are nice.

For my primary computer I can't give up the 57X10 3d Vision Surround, that is the highest level of immersion I've experienced in gaming.

I've tried 6 panel EyeFinity, and the bezels bi-secting the main action is a huge problem. With 3 panels you focus on the center panel and the two sides become your peripheral vision, so you don't really notice the bezels.

I've also played on the three projector screens, which I also consider very nice, but to me loses some impact due to necessary distance from it.

It's a shame no company has released a triple screen single build monitor as of yet. I'm sure a large portion of that though is because they are unsure how it would sell.

I remember a monitor having a slightly curved display comprising 3 screens in 1 "bezel" so to speak. There were still slight lines between the screens but couldn't have been more than a mm or so. I can't for the life of me remember who made it but it was expensive though.

    Alienware/NEC.

And the screen that you speak of is a piece of stinking junk. It's a curved screen, but, not curved enough for surround play. Also, the resolution is pathetic at only 2880 x 900! So, it's equivalent to only two screens, not three! For the price, you'd do much better going with three 1920 x 1200 screens. According to the MSRP, the unit launched at $8,000. YES, $8,000! I can build an insane gaming rig with that amount.
