Something else I'd like to toss in here.
We tend to take things for granted but should sometimes take a mental step back and think about things.
How lucky are we all that these companies have hired people like Vince and Peter to bring their perspective and expertise to what we are able to purchase.
I mean that, just think about these guys and add in the Macci's, the Sampsa's, and lets not forget FUGGER who have all added to the vast wealth of knowledge we take for granted.
We never see the direct influence they have given but we do see the results in what we are able to buy.
I'd like to thank them, all!

The motherboards are not the problem. Intel will not released unlocked Xeons for dual cpu configurations. AS for the 105 bclk limit Jacob talked about we have no hard proof just yet with retail chips. Jacob also said an i7 (he meant a single chip I'm sure) would work in the Evga sr-X, but I doubt that will be the case when the board is available in mass quantity.
