    Ok, I just looked and all the other entries had HT off.
    Try decreasing the memory size to 9216 and retry. Either that or turn off HT. I think there's a bug in linpack for memory sizes > 9216...
    Also andre... LinX is just a GUI interface that issues CLI commands to the linpack libraries that are maintained and produced by Intel themselves. Aside from the memory size bug... It's usually correct. Intel uses it themselves for testing chips.

    I will give it a try. With your 990x do you have HT disabled when you have higher GFlops than my SB-E?

    Yes. I can't hit 5GHz without suicide voltages with HT enabled. The highest i've clocked with HT on is 4.8GHz, and I had about 93-94Gflops.

    For sure, well I guess it is not as bad as I thought. Big upgrade from a 920 @ 4.2 anyways.
