I've sent a PM to Raja@Asus couple of days ago but no answer yet.
My problem is somewhat the same like with your second friend. This is very weird and very frustrating. What did he do with the board, RMA?

i will have to add another friend just mem stop working on black slots, no matter what he does change mem, chip those banks are dead...this sux poor guys
