I downloaded the f/w update and installed it from the toolbox. No problem at all, although my drive is not running as an OS drive.

@adrianu. Welcome to the forum. As long as the f/w updated it should be fine. It’s really not good to have anything interrupt a f/w update as it can brick the device, but it seems you have been lucky.

It seems it might be a bug, I’d let Samsung know about it so they can take care of it.
