It appears I was using the wrong LinX shortcut...
CPU: i7 2600K Batch# 3135B460 @ 5000Mhz on 1.44v [BIOS]
MB: ASUS Maximus IV Extreme-Z
RAM: 4GB DDR3-1886 [3GB used]
Cooling: Corsair H70; fan on chipset
Had to jack up the voltage from 1.415 to 1.44v
I doubt anything else will stress this CPU like this so gonna bring it back to 1.415v
