I would check it as soon as possible. Maybe back your OC down if you think it is really 1.9v. Here are the multimeters I have. I circled in red where to set it. All the ones I have seen are pretty much the same.

I have now which is analog, very bad ... the Chinese ..
And though not understand the values, the needle fluctuates the same+- with Vcore voltage and VCSSA, one is at 1.37 and another at 1.2 V.. .. More or less coincide.. with one digital we will see tomorrow

ELP3, if you check your first screenshot it looks like VCCSA is at 1.19v using the Asus Turbo Evo. That's right on the money. Double check with Asus Monitor as well (the second button next to Tools, choose Monitor Sensors). Looks like Probe II is just not accurate.

Well I turned off precision timer since someone commented that it created SLI problems and that didn't do anything for me with my SLI. Going to try mving some cards around but it dones' tlook good right now for either one of the cards or the motherboard and slot 2---thanks for all the help
Turning OFF HPET has absolutely no impact in any benchmarks I have run.

Your not going to necessarily see it in the error margins of a benchmark, but the Windows kernel benifits in multiple ways with multiproc/multicore cpus. No reason t turn it off.

Its simple my rig in Triple SLI will not work at all with it on. I get BSOD at all frequencies with it on. As soon as I enable Tri SLI. I am certain its a driver issue. For me it makes no difference to games etc at all so its not a problem.

If I only had time, it would be intersting to get a kernel dump of the crash to determine this. Have you reported it to NVIDIA that HPET enabled and tri-sli causes blue screen?

has anyone tested the speed of there usb3 ports on ASUS P9X79 Pro motherboards ? i have a ASUS P9X79 Pro motherboard and i am only getting 39 mb\s transfer speed. when i plug my usb3 hard drive in a usb2 port i get 29 mb\s. I installed a usb3 pci e card and now i getting 60 mb\s when i transfer the same movie file with tera copy. So much quicker then the usb3 ports on the motherboard.

I am watercooling the CPU. The VRM and northbridge are getting pretty hot without a fan pointed at them. Heatkiller do a waterblock that is compatible with the Pro but they only have a single VRM block and a single northbridge block.
My X79Pro has a VRM heatsink, another one connected via heatpipe above the memory. Then a second pair of blocks with one end on the southbridge and a heatpipe connecting to a small block next to the first PCI-E slot. Are the heatsinks above the RAM and next to the PCI-E slot cooling components directly beneath them or are they to just increase the amount of cooling the VRM/NB is getting? I don't want to find that a £100 water cooling kit isn't sufficient to keep the board safely cool after finding that without direct fan cooling the machine is dangerously hot.

Hey Brightcandle. I mailed Koolance direct about this with regard to the R4E block they have brought out and apparently there is nothing under any of the heatsinks appart from the VRM one north of the CPU and the "southbridge" one. The others are just to aid the heatpipe cooling. I am almost certain this will be the same on your board as they are all X79 with Digi V power.

P9X79 DELUXE
I am trying to run a raid 0 SSD setup. Using the Intel chipset. I have all kinds of issues. blue screens fails during install etc. I have tried the latest drivers and that hasn't helped. Switch over to Marvell and it works but speeds is about half the speed that the drives can pump out..

The Marvel chipset is not as good as the Intel for SATA3. As for BSOD iossues during install, are you using the "F6" drivers meant to be used during install?
This is from the readme inside the Intel RST driver package.5.3 Pre-Installation Using the F6 Method.
Note: The Steps 1 and 2 can be skipped if you use the F6 Floppy
disk utility provided by Intel. These methods
are applicable to systems configured for RAID or
AHCI mode.
1. Extract all driver files from the installation package.

I am downloading the RST drivers directly from asus
They are newer then what intel is releasing

I load drivers during the win 7 install so i can see the raid.
Sometimes i can make it through the install sometimes not.
After i get into windows(completely fresh) i can have crashes etc.
Try installing drivers. then my nvidia drivers start crashing etc.
The most frustrated i have ever been.
There isnt anything wrong with raiding two sataIII muskin SSD's 240gb is there?

Is your system stable? Have you tried installing windows on a single ssd to rule out system instability causing the crashes? What are your system specs?

Yes i have ran several hours of linpack when installing on a single SSD.
I have individually tested both SSD.
And now get this. I installed win7 32bit and am up and running currently. Although i cant run 32bit due to ram limits.
System is p9x79 deluxe
3630k
6X4GB gskill 1600
2X 240GB musking SataIII
I have tried HD's instead of SSD's with similiar results
i have tried nvidia and now currently running ATI card.
I have used drivers from CD, but for the most part am using the most current drivers from ASUS
From all my testing which is about 20 hours worth now everything seems to point to an issue with the intel RST driver.
