Yes....I experience the same thing. Like pazza316 said, cold or warm boot matters. Warm boots seems faster and more consistent in the time it takes. Cold boots vary all over the place. I think its the DRAM ""learning" that takes place every boot. If you leave the ROG splash screen on it becomes even more apparent how the boot up process cycles and how long each step takes because of the visual change. Also, as I near the edge of stability with DRAM timings and speed, tbe boot process seems to take longer as it seems to search for whatever settings it's looking for. When I run the system at stock specs (Opt Defaults), the cold boot becomes consistent and faster. Cold boots have also become faster and more consistent now that I have honed in on my stable OC settings and have not changed them.
