You still need the Intel OROM ( raid controller firmware ) installed for raid-0 TRIM to work, but that's awesome news regardless. Another good reason why I should upgrade to X79 heheheh.

With that being said,

Has anyone noticed slower transfer speeds? My 1.5TB black is only capable of reading 75MB/s now. Quite interesting. There's less stuttering, as well as boot times "may" be alittle bit faster.
