Microcenter is traditionally below newegg, by a good amount, almost $50 USD with the 2600K and 2500K. Id expect higher on newegg if MC is down-pricing them, of course Intel might ask MC to have the same price as newegg, and then MC will drop the cost more. MC usually also doesn't sell more than 1 CPU per household, and if they do you have to buy a whole systems, that is what they count on, just like laptops or desktop PCs, they charge close to cost hoping that ppl will accessorize.
