Greece - you got your stuff, right? I haven't heard from you since exchanging emails.. When we send stuff overseas, sometimes it gets caught up in customs, but we don't know that unless we get an email from the buyer..then, we look into it.

The stuff going out to Russia and Finland leaves on Monday.

What do you mean "will it reach the main WC sites?"...like newegg? That is being worked on by Snowlizard...we should know soon. We talk to them on Tuesday. We are also still working with Mayhem Dyes..

Yeah, you'd be the first to South America. We were just talking about that the other day - how we have gone to all continents but South America. The Free Shipping will end sometime in the "BER" months..SeptemBER/OctoBER..etc.. we haven't decided yet. We find that most people order at least two bottles, so we will probably do something like 1 for $30/ two for $55..something along those lines..just talk right now.

Does this stuff impact flow rate at all? I've noticed my flow rate is way down from my last loop. Barely pushing 1.3GPM w/ two DDC3.2's in an 402X2 w/ XSPC Rasa and Magicool 2x140mm radiator. Was around 2.11 GPM with distilled w/ a more complex loop last time.

Well I think the issue is actually this Koolance flow meter. Power cycle the adapter and it shots up to 6500 mL/min (1.6GPM). Still way under what it should be. Time to try another block I guess.

    So... silly question incoming.

Do you use a silver kill coil, PT nuke and/or a corrosion inhibitor with this?

I wonder what this stuff would look like in a frozen Q res - will it completely obliterate the coils, or can you still see them, and when illuminated will it glow white?
    sigh

You won't be able to see the coils. The coolant is crazy opaque. We weren't even able to get a laser thru it when doing PIV stuff (http://www.lavision.de/en/techniques/piv.php).

Lets say my blocks are perfectly clean, added no dye to the coolant, radiators have been flushed many times over. In a perfect world how long should this stuff last?

I've had it, honestly, running for almost 2 years. It is a natural biocide, so no algae should grow. As long as you keep the stuff moving you shouldn't have any trouble. I have actually shut the system down for a month and started it back up with success. Of course spills and evaporation are nothing that we can help. You really shouldn't have any problems. If you do, please let me know. The trickiest part, as I think you have seen, is getting the air bubbles out. I ran my system with out a cap on the reservoir until the fluid was warm, and then I tapped all the places I thought air might be with a screw driver.

Would you please confirm something for me?

Looking at what I (and others) have theorized this is, this shouldn't have any problems with galvanic corrosion, correct? I have a project that's not computer LC that well, it is what it is and I think it would benefit from this. It's better than drain, flush, flush, flush, refill. I don't need your secret formula, just a yes or no on the corrosion issue.

Unfortunately w/ the Koolance reservoir I have I can't leave the cap off and filling it requires me to tip the case on its back. But two years and still going is great news.

Sorry, I didn't see this. No galvanic corrosion will occur. This coolant is mostly DI water. Then, we put in the nanoparticles. Right now the nanofluid has an upper limit of 115C. You have to remember that 115C is the fluid temperature, not block temperature/cpu or whatever you are trying to cool. We are currently trying to get it to a higher temperature for F1/Motocross racing applications. I know my bike will get to 105C, but I haven't seen it get any higher. So, you will have to consider that upper limit for whatever you are thinking about doing. We also have some mixes we have made for the military that go down to -40C. If you have any questions I will answer them.

@lowfat - yes, going strong for many months. Also, Mayhem Dyes can tell you how long he has had it running. I think it is 1.5 years. I am glad you got that air bubble out. I know how much of a hassle that can be..especially when you can't see them

    rock on

This is a press release. The temperatures reported in the press release were the temperatures that the company got when testing our fluid against their current fluid, which I think is Koolance

Then, this just rocks..I got this in the mail today.. I can't wait. We are booth 25404..start planning..

If there is free shipping on the 28th of October still, I will probably buy some for my next project. Probably won't be actually getting all my components until next year though
