Because most reviewers have a given set of benchmarks, if they add a new game they have to retest all the previous hardware with it. Using an available benchmark and making an artificial setting is easier, especial when you already have the data.
for most that is true, but for a review thats only 2 games and 2 chips, it sure seemed like a lot of extra work
