One can only hope that they have developed their own controller.
Their 1st gen controller has lasted for 3 years or so, should be a healthy investment for them developing a new one.

I'm not sure that Intel would base their specs on compressible data although the 500MB/s write points in that direction.
If it was to be the SF2 controller I don't know what to think, based on the ongoing issues I'd expect a delay, if they get the issues straightened out I'd surely order some. (I'll do that anyways )
