For people getting stuck with HT ref, try using 133+ mhz. I think I've read it uses different dividers at those settings for SATA and PCI-E, so 133-134mhz might actually be more stable than say 125mhz. Not sure if it's true, but I guess it won't hurt to try

So...with actualy BIOS I have problem with bclk higher than 115 MHz . 115 MHz is stable, with 116MHz I got blackscreen. Boot with 116 Is not possible. I thought, there will be included some as dividier about 130 MHz as Giga, but doesnt seems. GPU I have at 6xx MHz, so, there will be not problem. Looks like HDD lcontroller limitation?

That's the real question 3D stability tests with Llano is going to stress the system more than linx. DX9 in particular, run firefly forest on loop

I'm 24/7 stable and can loop 3dmark06 on air at 152 with The Stilt's new F1A75-M PRO bios as well, even with the ram at ~1013MHz. Vantage score is pretty close to what it is at 133 ref clock with similar memory speeds though, probably since I have to turn off bank interleaving for it to run at those clocks.

Mine either. Barely even wants 3600. I'm running 152x23 with ram at 1013@9-10-9-25-35. I get P4948 in vantage with it like that. I think mine needs +.05 on the CPU and +.125 on the NB to do that.

Do you think it's worth the wait for the unlocked llano A8-3870k? Is there really gonna be any difference besides it being clocked at 3.0ghz? I thought the current 3850 was able to unlock already?

Hopefully it will be fresh silicon considering they have been having less than Stellar yields i want a fresh zambonied Llano

4.0 ghz llano would be nice with some Ddr3 2133 memory's

I'm hoping it will be a new stepping or something. I think Chew pretty much proved that there isn't much, if anything, to gain OCing wise under most circumstances with an unlocked Llano...in its current incarnation at least.

Not OC related but my 3850/F1A75-M Pro stock speed with 4G 1600ram at 1.5v, a single 64G SSD and a Fusion5 Gold tuner all running off an ancient Antec 420w Neo PS pulls 60w at desktop, 90-98w watching HDTV (no matter full screen or not) and 115w playing an Indie game full screen. Come to think of it, the external M-Audio box is USB powered. Pretty light weight for a GP rig.

That's really bad idle power consumption. I get 38w at the wall with 4 SSDs, a 5400rpm F4EG, 8GB ram at 1.5v on my 4850/F1A75-M Pro at stock.

You need to tweak the voltage using k10 stat,i have 0.8 idling at 1000 mhz and 1.2 load at 3100 mhz.Power difference from my old ph2 955BE is HUGE,also heat....
