I'm actually using a Intel 160 GB X25-M V2 SSD with the latest firmware connected to the first SATA port of the motherboard (-> this is the a SATA port, not marvel). The Intel diagnostic tool says the SSD is OK. I would think that the SSD is not causing the issues, since from time to time my mouse goes out, on, out, on for a few seconds, which seems to point to the motherboard. The only event that I can find in the Event log of the Event Viewer that could be SSD related is this one:
