Is there a social media term when someone (e.g. a competitor) uses your event hashtag to capture eyeballs? Flattered maybe? #IDF2011

Intel is jsut maybe a tad nervous

sidenote....i feel like AMD Bulldozers clock rates are kinda confusing and all over the place...with the different models not really fallowing a pattern through the FX 4, FX 6, FX 8 model line up (i.e. base clock and turbo clock)

also i have a feeling with yield problems for both llano and bulldozer already circulating around that we may have a higher chance og getting a FX-4xxx series to unclock to a FX-8xxx series. that we be insane!

That Intel post did sound kinda nervous, or at the very least bothered by AMD's post lol.

So I guess the BD release for September 19th is still happening?

I wonder if this whole fiasco was actually supposed to happen? Maybe AMD set all this up to confuse the public and it's "Competitors" on purpose to keep the "Actual" BD under wraps until the actual launch? Who knows, either way, I'm excited to see what evolves tomorrow!

Holy cow! Now this is gettin me fired up again after all those terrible BS leaks. If Bulldozer turns out to be a monster overclocker, that'll be perfect because I'm building my first watercooled system around it.

Is it actually going to be about Bulldozer? A person over at another forum said AMD announced the Bobcat based APU at last years IDF http://www.kitguru.net/components/gr...5-kitguru-idf/ That was posted by Stmok at OCAU.

So it may not be that big of a deal?

Yes I doubt too, few days ago amd said a 'historical moment' will come in Sep.13, but the page stated is for APU, not mentioning bulldozer.

Cumon guys don´t get too excited or you just might get even more disappointed later. AMD will probably make some official announcements regarding Trinity. Or its just simply going to say that Bulldozer is shipping. Big fu[king deal. Dont forget Interlagos is shipping and has been tested and is just par. Zambezi is the same thing mostly so it will most likely be around 2500k level given the leaked prices, which is actually pretty decent if you think about it, but dont build up hype out of smoke pls, it will only hurt us more later.

Just dont say this is ES or unreliable because yes it is realiable and yes it is final hardware. The only real doubt is whether the clock speed is fully on or not.

Interesting, here's what JF wrote in regards to that link:

    http://hardforum.com/showpost.php?p=...5&postcount=32

    "Interesting that:

    A. There isn't an Opteron 6282
    B. There is no SE part clocked at 2GHz

Why do people make this stuff up?"

Well maybe this is beause the name is simply wrong? why would you believe that everything about BD is a lie until launch? Interlagos is shipping and that means it can be tested. what guarantees that this isnt interlagos? did not see jf deny it either. lastly any bd server chip running above 2ghz stock can be tuned to run at 2ghz with the power play like feature, it is one of the new features of bd for servers.

Simply wrong? So someone/or something, just spontaneously chose some random numbering with the addition of SE? Who said anything about all the BD leaks being a lie, or do my responses convey that? You told me those results were factual and represented a final product, next I learn the product represented in the link doesn't even exist.

    I'm lost.

I could be wrong, I recalled some news, that Interlagos shipping last week is only for Cray and other OEM partners, are those partners not signning NDA and spread out benchmark easily?
