Beep, don't you have /had some 1.35v G.Skill Eco? I'm thinking about using somthing like those for a LLano HTPC. My Patriot 2000C8 1.65v won't even run 1866.

Just this pair of Ripjaws X 1600 CL6, PSC on them...probably same bin as the 1600 CL7 Eco...great kit for the non-enthusiast, however an overclocker will be highly dissapointed.

I had graphics corruption at 1866C8, 1600 was fine.
From what others have reported Llano doesn't like Hypers, works well with PSC.

I believe Hypers should work fine at 1866 C8 though...

That's what I was hoping when I stuck them in.
Using the blue slots, Stock (1.65 Cas8) @ 1866 gets me color corruption, random reboots and lockups.
Runs great @ 1600 Cas8 1.5v though which is all I need for HTPC but was hoping to get more out of those 2Gb 2000C8 sticks. They were really expensive a couple of years ago.
Already stuck it in the case and mounted it in the rack. Will experiment with timings after the holiday.

I think the integrated GPU benefits much more from more MHz than tighter timings though. So playing around in an attempt to get 1866 would be more worthwhile
    Rig 1:
    ASUS P8Z77-V
    Intel i5 3570K @ 4.75GHz
    16GB of Team Xtreme DDR-2666 RAM (11-13-13-35-2T)
    Nvidia GTX 670 4GB SLI

    Rig 2:
    Asus Sabertooth 990FX
    AMD FX-8350 @ 5.6GHz
    16GB of Mushkin DDR-1866 RAM (8-9-8-26-1T)
AMD 6950 with 6970 bios flash

Yamakasi Catleap 2B overclocked to 120Hz refresh rate
    Audio-GD FUN DAC unit w/ AD797BRZ opamps
Sennheiser PC350 headset w/ hero mod

As far as Pi modules working well with AMD? I wouldn't go for the 1600 C6...2000-2100 8-10-8 isn't all that impressive for PSC. It works, sure...
I've got some Pi 2133 C7-10-7 coming my way, I was wanting 2200 C7 Pi/Ripjaws but settled for that. actually the owner had 8GB but traded four to me for STT 2200 C8

If you can find them, I think the 2000 C8 dominators will do well on AMD...
To be perfectly honest, I'm not certain these are JNL, but I'm 90% sure they are :\ I just remember reading they were JNL from the OCZ thread. Actually, I think it might have been ME who asked LOL

I've held off on buying any yet. I'll wait till G.Skill gets whatever out to me that they can, if they can.

Anyone know what these PNY XLR8 have for ICs? The 2 kits I got arrived today (couldn't pass up for $19/ea 2x2GB), and I left my Timings as-is for what those PSC Kingmax run fine at for 1600 (7-8-7-22 @ 1.65V/1.7V actual), but the XLR8 wouldn't POST. They required their 8-8-8-24 2T advertised at 1.65V (actual), but seemed to need an extra .1V in order to pass Intel Burn Test 2GB@5 passes (set with 1T though). They perform great at those timings and speed, managing 10GB/s in MaxxMEM with 3.2GHz on the 1090T and 2800NB (2200HT not that it matters). I think those Kingmax with 7-8-7 and tighter subtimings only does like 9.8GB/s, so if so I think that's rather impressive. I've got all 4 modules in (unmatched, mind you) running their defaults with 1T, same voltage of 1.66V (actual). Passed IBT with 6000MB@5 passes. Tried to see how low they'd go for timings and won't even do 5-5-5 @ 1066 :\ Have yet to see if voltage helps. Surprisingly the MaxxMEM is only down to 9.14GB/s, with the copy dropping about 250mb/s to 13000mb/s, read dropping from 10600 to 9000 and write staying the same at 9200 o_0 (again, 4 modules, stock CPU, 2800NB)

Mhz does help. Right up until voltage kills it. That's why I want lower voltage ram. The more voltage I give these patriots the worse it runs. I can get into desktop and halfway through a 1080p Youtube vid @ 1866/C8 1.5v before it reboots. More voltage = bluescreen. I need some other ram but these will work at 1600 1.5v

I have a little Question: I haven't read the hole 25 pages of this thread, but has somebody of you tested G.Skill Flare 1800 @ 7-8-7 1,65V ? Are these Hypers ?

Yep, 1600/6.6.6.1.65v works fine just like it did with the X6 but 1866 isn't even close to working no matter what I do.
Swapped out the Patriot PVV34G2000LLKB for 4G of G.Skill 1600C7 1.6v and set them to 1866C8 1.60v and BINGO no problem! Vantage went from 4180 to 4372 but windows experience is still 5.9 for Ram... should be higher shouldn't it?

No, because you're now at C8, which offsets some of the performance gain from increased speed. Aside from the tests being very different, your WEI could be what it is because of your hard drive, as mine is. (X6 at stock, NB@2800, 4x2GB PNY XLR8 1600 8-8-8-24 2T 110ns) Now, if you mean your Memory's subscore = 5.9, yes, something is a bit wonky. Unfortunately I don't know what my score is with my NB@2000MHz for comparison to where I'm at now for WEI, but I'm quite certain my 555BE with my 2x2GB OCZ Reaper at 1600 7-7-7 was still a 7+ subscore.

Yeah, it's the ram sub score that is 5.9. Hard disk (SSD) is 7.9 This is for an A8-3850 on an Asus F1A75-M pro board.

Can you post a screenshot of your Memory timings page from AOD (or CPU-Tweaker, if it works), and list what you IMC is running at?

Two things I can think of as the cause: Platform is new enough that there are some issues with RAM compatibility, or your running in Ganged mode. On the latter, please don't think that I think you're not competent enough to spot that, but "to err is only human"

There is no Ganged/Unganged mode in the factory Bios for this board. Asus F1A75-M Pro
I'm not trying to overclock it, just optimizing the stock settings and find which is the best ram from the sticks I already have. The Patriot 2000C8 1.65v ram should have worked at 1866 (failed @ 1866C10!) but I had failures similar to what the guys that are OC ran into, usb failure, PS2 port failure, colored blocks and lines artifacts etc. 1600C6 or 1333C5 1T 1.65v is OK. Works great at 1600C8 1T 1.5v which is what I am looking for - fastest ram at 1.5v (or less).
    The G.Skill 1600C7 1.6v will do 1866C8 1.6v (only at 2T).
The 3DMark Vantage scores are good for stock speeds so I'm not worried about the WEI Ram score, just thought it was a little low compared to the other systems I have. Maybe future bios will help.

You may just need more RAM to get a higher score. For instance if you have a 4GHz dual core you still have a low CPU score until you throw in a 2.8GHz quad and then your score will go up. Add another 4GB of RAM total 8GB and your score will go up.

    That worked.
    I combined those 2 4Gb kits (@1600C8 1.6v) and WEI ram jumped from 5.9 to 7.5.
    Lost 60 points in Vantage.

Did you test with 1333 C5 1T? You should have significantly higher gaming FPS with the 1333 C5, which if both kits can pull that off, that would be even better!

Aside from being virtually unobtainable? (Ukraine may be a different story, but it's pretty hard to find in the US)

They are optimized for AMD, just so you are aware. Like any RAM it doesn't mean they won't work in Intel, just the advertised timings are for AMD.

Doubt it unless its 5-6-5 at high voltage. My Hypers do 5-5-5 to about 1450...1.7v while they also do 1800 6-6-6

My Kingmax modules (the 2x2gb 2200 10-10-10) have PSC and King's site states a max operating voltage of 1.8V. Mind you, I'm not trying to insinuate in any way that would be smart as I really am not sure safe 24/7 on the PSC IC. King offers lifetime (who doesn't?) so it'd seem like if that was going to be a high risk for module death that they wouldn't spec them at that, right?

Though, they might have re-done their timings it looks like, as their XMP on my sticks is 10-10-10, vs this page spec listing of 10-11-10. Maybe they will do 2200 after all haha We'll see when these FM1 boards come I guess I've managed 7-8-7 at 1600 1.65V

My Ripjaws are better than that and will not post at 1333 5-6-5.

1.8v is not safe or even logical on PSC. Scaling past 1.7 is useless.

Yea nothing I have will do CL5 either, considering these Kingmax won't do CL6 1333 lol They just aren't the best binned, which isn't much of a surprise. But my D9 IC OCZ 1600 7-7-7 1.9V sticks only manage 6-6-6 1333. It'll do 5-5-5 but is not stable.

Good to know that 1.8V isn't wise, but that does make me wonder how long these modules will last heh I've not had them long, but I HAD been running them rather high our of ignorance, and then I found out the BIOS setting is ~0.05V lower than actual. So 1.8V was quite a bit more! :S
