I upped voltage one notch and it wouldn't even make one pass in LinX, dropped voltage and it wouldn't make 1 pass in LinX, set LLC to 100% and crash. I don't get it. Sometimes I can pass 10-15 runs LinX at one voltage then can't pass one run of LinX. Weird but I feel it could be heat related due to making all those passes then crashing. I am looking to get a single stage (just missed a good deal for one that holds SB at -30C for $325.00 in For Sale section) and I am also looking to add a second rad to my custom water setup in my 800D. Currently have a 3x120 EK in the top and will probably add a 2x120 in the bottom.
I have it on water too, but not that exotic (XSPC RS 750, RX 240), which keeps it between 70-80C in IBT, and while playing games it rarely goes about 65c. I'm guess I'll put it on high volts and see if it crashes while playing a game for a while or not, and then keep reducing till I feel its stable.

I don't buy any of my chips online. I get all of my chips from my local Microcenter as they are cheaper then Newegg and I am able to sort through and pick the batch I want.

Not sure where you are at but you should see if you have a local MicroCenter.

I use 75% LLC for 24/7 5Ghz, I have done some testing with 100% LLC and the load voltage is crazy high.

Well no 2600K's on the truck at MicroCenter today. I guess I will have to wait and see if any come in with Friday's shipment.

rtcore its a library like any .dll wich is called from afterburner, there are lots of routines inside so its needed and afterburner installs it, beta 6 its here
remeber its the same author or riva tuner wich uses that same .dll

Andre, what gadget are you using for the CPU, and if there is one for the GPU saying the core clock and mem speed, do you know one?

    Thanks.

    Hi all,

For those of you that own the newer Maximus IV Extreme-Z, what have your experiences been?

I need to choose a new Z68 mainboard due to support issues with Asrock (board in sig, great board, poor support), but my concern is that ASUS support may not be that much different. The MIVE-Z is a pretty expensive board, and if I'm going to shell out the cash, I want to make sure I'm unlikely to have any issues, or that if I do, I can get some support from ASUS. I've read a few other threads here that speak of frustration in dealing with ASUS (experiences that sound very much like mine with Asrock), so I'm hoping to get more feedback.

I already have a large mid-tower case, and I need to fit three PCIe cards (Radeon 6970, X-Fi Titanium, Hauppauge HVR-1800).

I notice you've used the Gigabyte UD7 in addition to the MIVE-Z. Can you give me a compare/contrast of what you like and don't like?

I'm looking at the MIVE-Z, Gigabyte's UD5, and their UD7. I pretty much have today to make the decision, much longer and I won't be able to return my board to retailer.
