1. it supports staggered-spin up???
2. this HBA supports MAID???

@Wintel--I am willing to do this, but seriously, i have a full plate, doing 6805 v 9265 for review, also working on something with a tight deadline...actually a few things! once my schedule eases a bit, i will be happy to help

would just a few as ssd screenies help? i could do a few of those before & after changing firmware. if that is good i will do it quickly, i know it isnt much but should give us an idea.

today..
LSI engineer answers me...
1. SAS RAID HBAs support staggered spin-up...
2. All SAS HBAs doesn't support any MAID features...............
Only megaraid controller is available for these power-saving features...

And, these HBAs doesn't support I/O Load Balancing....
