Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

Just wanted to do an ATI/AMD one before another NV is all... Dedicated GPU test bench could care less, more of my own preference.

Finally picked up a 580 last week.

So what's the story with this newer GTX+ block? As in will it fit BP 3/8 x 5/8 compression fittings?

Any plans on non-reference GTX 580 blocks for the ASUS Cu card?

    It isn't.

The Palit twin fan (part # with 10CB in it) is the same PCB design as the Gainward/MSI non reference cards (AFAIK). EK has the FC580 GW block for those.

If you can find a single fan (p/n with 09CB in it) then the GTX+ will fit.

I ended up selling my unused Palit and getting a BFG card instead.

(Palit also put warranty stickers over the screws - BFG and Zotac do not).

If it has a DisplayPort connector on it, it isn't a reference card. Reference cards have two DVI and one mini-HDMI only.
