    @kuziu Nothing like that in the deluxe , checked it with 1.5v couple of minutes ago , silent as ever .
    --
    1702 seems to update the built in sensor , it dropped by around 10 deg. (centigrade) in the BIOS .
    Anyone grabbed a changelog maybe ? I`ve also read somewhere it updates the micro-code or something similar ,
    maybe gives the possibility of putting ivy on it ?

    I was wondering... as I see a lot of results with people running their RAM at 1T command rate. What are the settings to play with to get 1T to work? increase RAM voltage or is it just a matter of having enough vCore on the proc as the mem controller is on that chip as well?

    Most RAMs that I`ve played with would not need any voltage change to go from 2t to 1t .

    I just picked up the Deluxe version at Mcenter today for $40.00.. (no that is not a typo) they have an 80% off rack and had this mobo on it (it was a return, they tested and posted perfect), I can't wait to get it home and try to beat up the new i5 2500k i picked up today too.

    Thanks for the great info on the bios settings!

    What bios is everyone having the best luck with?

    Just got everything online and running, doing some more testing. Out of the box using ASUS AI suite only I am at 4.6GHz. Time to tweek it some more. So far this is an amazing little board!

    My Vengeance (1600 CL9) runs 1T with the default voltage, try it.

    The 1702 BIOS changelog is up : 2.2TB or larger HDD can be supported under RAID mode. (needs IRST 10.5)

    @Sc4r3d:

    What did you test these settings with? If it's really stable you got a great chip in your hands, mine can't even do 4.7GHz at that vCore.

    It's that simple
    Changed to T1 and booted up fine (45x100 @1,29v load atm). Did some mem testing and LinX testing and appears stable. Was surprised to see Gflops at 124. Isn't that high?

    I am sorry for the delay in my reply, I had to go out of town on a business trip. I will run some more tests on Friday when I get back, I threw everything I had at it, heat is staying low (I am on water HEATkiller 3.0), vCore is running stable, no blue screens, I have a feeling I got lucky!

    I have to agree with you, she is running smooth right now.

    What tests would you like for me to run? I can run anything you all want to see. I hope to have my 6990's in the next couple of weeks. I may go with a pair of 6950's and flash to 6970's but this is kinda open in the air, for the price it may make more sense to run 6950's and unlock them. (ideas?).

    I think there is a new BIOS update, should I install it, or keep what I have?

    This mobo is an amazing find for me for sure, I love the OC'ing ability it offers. Happy I went with this vs. ASrock, especially since I paid $40 for it

    @Sc4r3d:

    Some rounds of LinX with AVX or Prime95 will make sure it's stable enough so you can drool even more on top of your shiny golden 2500K

    EDIT: Are emoticons broken or is it just me?

    Find the max multi of that chip. I am interested.

    Ps. All emoticons are broken temporarily because of the forum swap over.

    If you're using offset voltage mode, bump it up by a little - 0.02v, so that idle volts are a little closer to 0.99v.

    Sounds like it's undervolting a little too far at idle.

    Just pump the vcore offset up a little. Try with +0.01v and see how you go.
