    also on the turbo

if this is real that it would mean that turbo 2.0 can even have different GHZ and multipliers within a single module.

From Dresdenboy's blog ,a great question

My guess is that all shared parts ,except FlexFP,run at the frequency of higher clocked integer core . FlexFP is usually clock gated if no fp commands are scheduled, but if it is not clock gated it should also run at the frequency of higher clocked integer core.

Every core at different frequencies is a bit strange when you consider the modules.

I don't think so... It can have one fast core or two with the others being throttled, but nothing similar to this that I know of.

It would make sense if frequency at least changed according to core's load... But look at the above screenshot: 2% load and 3.2GHz, 14% load and 1GHz? Maybe it's set manually this way...

But Phenom has cores that can be set individually. Can you set different parts of a module at different speeds? If you have core 0 at 1GHz and core 1 at 2GHz, what speed does the prefetchers, and schedulers work at?

My guess is at the clock of the faster core.Same goes for non clock-gated FlexFP.

If its marketed that way as an "ultimage gaming cpu" , it cant be worse than current SB in games as some people suggested. But thats probably due to the aggressive turbo.

I feel a new stepping coming for christmas.
And the other thing, current models look like are scheduled for start of Q3, so maybe theyre gonna show up in the summer itself and not in september.

Yes,late July seems to be the target now. Shouldn't be long now . Turbo is going to reach some new levels with Zambezi.
