Yah a few things are quirky, GTX's 3's are not going to be plug and play for endusers it seems.

    Here's GTX 3's stable now.

Here's the culprit sub timings ( to loose at defaults is the issue )

    Too loose or too tight?

You got anything stable over DDR3-2100 yet?

To loose raja, IIRC 6-5-6-12 was default?

Not yet but atm I'm testing module compatibility as average joe, aka set primaries and go save the GTX3's seeing as they exhibited issues right away.

Just plugged in a set of 8 gig 1600 7-8-7 so far granted 2T but they are passing slacked at 2000, thats an improvement for this set.

Ignore the 6-5-6 they are not going to impact stability for being too loose. tWR sometimes has a few offsets behind the scenes so it might be that.

Should have a BIOS guide up soon.

Could have been tWR, will verify later, want to finish ripping through the rest of the ram, quite a few sets to go through.

the GTX3 screenshot was set 90ns, twkr reporting 90/110?

Just left auto with an 8 gig set one channel reads 160 as it should rest are reserved.

This is actually preety nice considering what it is. Might be able to suck them in, not sure.

Tried a set of corsair vengeance 2000 dimms high latencies, they need a little time put in maybe.

Could be a Tweaker issue as that has been known to misreport at times, though I will check it out.. Those GTX3s; what happens when you leave the primaries on AUTO?

Will test in a bit, got the rig tied up with mismatched sets for some 16 gig 2000 action atm.

Same analogue PWM as we have seen in the past. Digi+ is just marketing.

Gigabyte switched to DrMOS at least.

Don't confuse the FETs used for the capabilities of the buck controller - it is Digi+.

gigabyte switched to dr.mos? Isn't that a MSI trademark?

From what I see personally MSI is using renesas still, and giga switched to Sic this time around but that is best discussed in those threads when I create them.

On topic, here's some mismatched 16 gig action at 2000 ram.

    No, it's not.

When are you going to test the GA-990FXA-UD7?

The question would have been the amount of the vdroop. Anyway, my 790FX-GD70 has much much lower vdroop without LLC than the CH IV had with the stupid llc.

    Raja as requested.

GTX 3 Auto with ram set to 2000 voltage defaulting to 1.65.

    Further investigating.

    DOCP

    1023 pass ( 1.65v ) I didn't let this run long.....usually failure is instant.

    DOCP fail point 1043 ( 1.65v )

Considering i can manually tune these to 7-9-6 at 2000 I would say compatibility atm has something to be desired.
