LLC between 5 and 7 are the only ones worth using, but LLC6 still has some droop at high load, and while LLC7 doesn't have that droop, both LLC6 and LLC7 have erratic voltage spikes, sometimes going as much as 0.030v higher than what you set in BIOS, at *light* load.

I got my GA-P67A-UD7-B3 board back now, finally. I have tried to overclock with the latest BIOS F4 from Gigabytes website, but it won't boot at anything past 4.9Ghz. I then flashed F3H and i was able to overclock back up to 5.5Ghz and run a few benchmarks. Otherwise the board seems pretty good.

Just a quick question though: is LLC Level 2 a bad idea for a 24/7 overclock?

My previous overclock was 4.5Ghz with 1.285v set in BIOS with LLC level 2, but some people have been saying your shouldn't use LLC Level 2 for a 24/7 overclock.....??

You couldn't do past 4.9 ghz ? Sounds like PLL Overvoltage wasn't working ....

It was strange. It always booted and came to the windows is loading screen and froze. I set the PLL manually so i dont know what was wrong.

I noticed you said you used F4.
Someone with a UD4 board said F4 wouldn't overclock his chip past 4.4 ghz unless he raised VTT to 1.2v and adjusted VCCSA up slightly. He went back to F3D (or F3B?) and he was back up to 4.8 ghz on all auto voltages (besides vcore).

I know PLL overvoltage worked fine on UD5 on both F3 and F5, but there definitely seem to be issues with F4......

Can do 5Ghz+ here no problem with F4 BIOS, and don't need anymore Vtt than any other BIOS (Stock or lower depending on memory), nothing wrong with it at all as far as I have seen.

I have flashed to f4 2 times and spent a couple hours trying it but was unable to do the same clocks for benching as before. I tried all the llc's 1-10 but have trouble getting into windows at 5600mhz, not sure how good it is for 24/7 stability, Im taking a break from linx and blend. I finally gave up on f4 and went back to f3h, maybe its my settings that are wrong idk
